The spokesman for the Trade Development Commission, announced that non-oil trade between Iran and 15 neighboring countries amounted to $50 billion in the first 10 months of this year, which was a 1.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to Seyyed Rouhollah Latifi, spokesman for the Commission for the Development of Trade, Industry, and Commerce of Iran, regarding Iran’s non-oil trade with 15 neighboring countries, he stated: From the beginning of this year to the end of January, 79 million 982 thousand 360 tons of goods worth 49 billion 831 million 871 thousand dollars were exchanged between Iran and neighboring countries, of which the share of Iran’s exports to these countries was 60 million 368 thousand 642 tons of goods worth 23 billion 150 million 483 thousand dollars, and the share of Iran’s imports from neighboring countries was 19 million 613 thousand 717 tons worth 26 billion 681 million 388 thousand 465 dollars.
He also added that 53 percent of the weight and 57.2 percent of the value of the country’s 10-month exports were destined for Iran’s 15 neighboring countries.
