The Customs Export Office issued a circular to the country’s executive customs authorities to remove virtual water duties from five products: dates, pistachios, figs, grapes, and tea.

Referring to a joint meeting with his Armenian counterpart, the head of Iran’s Customs said: “The customs of the two countries are working on a joint program to increase the volume of trade exchanges and facilitate the movement of passengers and trucks carrying commercial goods through the Norduz-Mughri border.”

According to the report, economic activists present at the meeting expressed their requests and suggestions aimed at facilitating and accelerating the trade process, the most important of which included increasing customs working hours, benefiting from the Carnet de Passage customs facilities, developing infrastructure, and creating facilities for tourists traveling by land.
